Swire Pacific Offshore (SPO) has issued a statement to SMOU on an email recruitment scam targeted at seafarers using their company’s name. They have lodged a police report in Singapore and will do likewise in UK.

This year’s Lunar New Year Golf League on 23 February saw one of the biggest turnouts of 80 members swinging their best shots and catching up at Orchid Country Club. Having worked up an appetite, the members heartily enjoyed lo hei tossing and a buffet spread.

Valentine’s Day at the new Lighthouse Bistro was a classic affair of romance and fine dining for about 30 members and their spouses. The evening was made sweeter with each couple receiving a chocolate bouquets, roses and teddy bear and a scented diffuser.
