With the introduction of the new on-line e-services, we will be streamlining our work processes with the following new operating hours of SMOU One Stop Service Centre with effect from 1st May, 2014 (Thursday).
Young SMOU volunteers worked together to bring 80 seniors the 'U Care for Community Project'.This project brings together the labour movement to reach out to some 800 beneficiaries from charitable homes which are adopted by NTUC unions.
The annual Long Membership Awards Presentation was held on 19th November, and saw 93 SMOU members with membership length of 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40 years being presented their long membership awards.
The SMOU Family Connection held in October saw a total of 80 members and their family members who attended the event. Members joined in the games, lucky draw and enjoyed the show put on by the magician.
Some 61 deserving recipients received bursaries, scholarships and book awards from SMOU, Wavelink and NTUC U care fund. A total of S$ 27,550 was presented to these recipients this year. Since 1982, SMOU has presented more than $1.4 million to more than 3,100 recipients
