More than 100 SMOU members visited Singapore Bicentennial The Bicentennial Experience at Fort Canning Centre, followed by a lovely lunch buffet at Kublai Khan. It was an lovely day filled with smiles and sweet memories.

YSMOU U Heart Project - Henderson Home Outing @ Jewel

On 23 Oct, YSMOU brought the beneficiaries from Henderson Home Day Care Centre on an outing to Jewel at Changi Airport. The seniors were filled with joy as YSMOU volunteers guided them on a tour around the Rain Vortex and Canopy Park. The outing concluded with each senior receiving a goodie bag.

SMOU once again presented bursary, scholarship and Wavelink book awards to children of SMOU members at the National Museum of Singapore. This year, awards were given out to 43 recipients worth a total of more than $33,000.

Cajon Workshop with White Cane Club

SMOU volunteers and Sister Mary warmly welcomed the visually impaired beneficiaries of White Cane Club, where they enjoyed a nice lunch at Lighthouse Bistro followed by a rhythmic session at the Cajon Workshop – The Cajon is a wooden rectangular box drum played with the hands, fingers and brushes.

Young SMOU CSR Project at Batam 2019

Across the weekend from 31 August - 1 September, Young SMOU members returned to Betesda Orphanage in Batam, which they had previously visited in November 2017. Volunteers spent the day helping around the orphanage with gardening, cementing and cleaning of the premise.

SMOU Bowling Challenge 2019

This year’s annual bowling challenge saw a total of 21 teams, comprising of CBA companies, MPA, YSMOU and members team. The eventful day ended with everyone walking away with gifts and celebrating their victory.
