Over the weekend from 11-12 November, a group of Young SMOU members visited Bestesda Orphanage in Batam, Indonesia, founded after the tsunami that took place in Aceh back in 2004. The volunteers spent the day at the orphanage, forming new friendships with the children, playing with them and having lunch together. And despite the heavy rain, many volunteers continued to do their best for the orphanage, wanting to provide a cleaner and happier place for the home of their new friends. We thank our volunteers for taking time off their precious weekend in Making A Difference in the children's lives.
