As Singapore moves towards a new phase of living with COVID-19, SMOU has updated our policy for visits to our office premises effective from 26 April 2022.

We are delighted to welcome you back to our Mariners' Lounge. Only fully-vaccinated members and visitors will be allowed to enter the Mariners' Lounge and our One Stop Service Center.

Members are also encouraged to conduct SMOU-related transactions online by visiting (https://siis.smou.org.sg/public/login.zul) or via our SMOU mobile application 'MySMOU'.

As your safety is of utmost importance to us, we would like to remind all our visitors to wear a face mask at all times.

Tripartite Nautical Training Award Recruitment Drive

Looking to pursue a career at sea? Or if you have any friends who are passionate for a career at sea, join us at our career fair to learn more about the Tripartite Nautical Training Award 

Details are as below:

Date: 18 January 2013, Friday 

Time: 10am, 2pm

Venue: Yio Chu Kang Community Club 

(50 Ang Mo Kio Street 61 Singapore 569163)

Requirements

  • Singaporeans and Singapore PRs only
  • Min GCE 'N' levels with passes in English, Maths, and Physics/Chemistry
  • No colour/night blindness
  • Physically fit
  • Able to commit to 31 months of training (including 18 months at sea)

To register, call 6474 3777 from 9am-6pm, Monday to Friday. Registration closes on 17 January 2013 or when the registration is full. Admission is strictly by pre-registration
