About 330 SMOU members and their families participated in the SMOU 65^th Anniversary Mega Trip from 16 to 18 March. The event kick started with a SMOU 65^th anniversary cake cutting, with the March birthday members who joined in the celebrations. Starting the next day on a bright and early note, SMOU organised a mass Morning exercise for members to have a great workout. Upon reaching Malacca, members were happy to disembark for an afternoon of shopping and enjoying local delicacies. Evening came and saw many members coming up on deck to watch the sunset out at sea, or to simply enjoy the ocean breeze.

This trip also saw the TNTA Cohort 10 cadets having their Practical Navigation Observation lessons onboard to provide some real-time experience and to have a better understanding of the workings of a vessel. It was a trip well-planned and well-spent for family bonding and building closer ties with fellow members.
