SMOU Bursary & Scholarship Awards Presentation

This year, SMOU gave out a total of 22 Bursaries, 15 Scholarships & 43 Wavelink Book Awards. In total, there were 80 awards which amounted to some S$33,000.

Guest-of-Honour Mr Yeo Guat Kwang, Assistant Secretary-General of NTUC and MP for Ang Mo Kio GRC presented the awards to the recipients.

It was an emotional affair at the Awards ceremony, where parents and children were seen hugging each other thankfully, with heartfelt congratulations, smiles and tears of joy shared. Adding a special touch to the event was the part where the award recipients presented their hand-made cards as a token of appreciation to their parents, for their unwavering support and encouragement.
