Youth Maritime Forum

The first Youth Maritime Forum took place on 18 May at National Gallery with more than 160 guests, students and cadets present. The Guest-of-Honour was Mr Patrick Tay, MP for West Coast GRC and Assistant Secretary-General of NTUC.

Speakers shared their experiences and stories revolving around the theme ‘Developing Youth of Today, Exploring Maritime of Tomorrow’.

Our Panel Chairperson, Ms Mary Liew together with our speakers, Mr Tan Suan Jow (MPA), Mr Lim Tau Kok (PACC Ship Managers Pte Ltd), Capt William Tan (Tai Chong Cheang Steamship (S) Pte Ltd) and Ms Joyce Lee (SMOU) closed the forum through a panel discussion, answering a series of questions asked by the participants.
